We are the UCL Maths Society, or formally, the UCL Augustus De Morgan Mathematics Society. We are one of UCL's founding societies, named after the first Professor of Mathematics at UCL, Augustus De Morgan.
A large part of our efforts are to run events across the academic year for the entirety of UCL's maths department, promoting not only mathematical, but social engangement to ensure a healthy and indulging work environment.
We are pleased to be a part of the UCL Students' Union, and welcome students of all departments and backgrounds into our society.
Our aim is to provide students with an interest in maths an enriching and fulfilling experience at UCL, as we mix fun with academic support and career advice throughout the year! Highlight events include careers sessions, academic talks, pub quizzes, and an annual Maths Summer Ball. Make sure to follow us on Instagram
